Salvador Dalí's whitewashed house above the cove at Portlligat, with fishing boats moored in front

Dalí House-Museum senior ticket

The full visit to the house and Olive Grove for visitors aged 65 and over, with photo ID showing your age.

The senior fare is for visitors aged 65 and over. It is the same visit as the general ticket: Dalí's rooms and studio, walked with museum staff in a group of up to eight, then the Olive Grove at your own pace. Bring a passport, national ID card or driving licence showing your age when you collect the ticket at the beach ticket office, 30 minutes before your slot.

Who qualifies

Visitors aged 65 and over. The museum checks proof of age when you collect the ticket, and the same discount applies to visitors from outside the EU. Any official photo ID showing your date of birth will do.

Before you book

The house was built from fishermen's huts and has narrow, irregular staircases, with uneven ground in the Olive Grove. It is not accessible to wheelchair users and is hard going with limited mobility. If steep steps are a concern, write to us before booking and we will describe the route honestly.

Choose a slot that leaves plenty of time for the road into Cadaqués and the walk or drive to the cove, because the ticket must be collected 30 minutes before entry.

What the senior ticket covers

The accompanied route through the private rooms and the studio, about thirty minutes, then the Olive Grove, courtyards and pool terraces at your own pace, on one date and one 10-minute entry slot.

Frequently asked

Is there anywhere to sit during the visit?
The interior route is short and walked with your group, so plan on standing for about thirty minutes on stairs and in small rooms. The Olive Grove afterwards is at your own pace.
Do I need to prove my age?
Yes. Bring photo ID showing your date of birth to the ticket office. Reduced fares are checked when you collect the ticket.
